A virtual Idol and virtual Idol competitions only exists online - in cyberspace! This game celebrates virtual singers and allows you to create a virtual popstar. You can either create a new character designed by you or create some of the better known virtual idols already in existence! Particularly Vocaloid characters.
Are you familiar with Vocaloid and Hatsune Miku? Vocaloid is singing voice synthesizer software and Hatsune Miku was the first Japanese Vocaloid, a vocal character and cyber celebrity in her own right! She only exists online but she still has thousands, or even millions of fans all over the world. Well, maybe that's not so strange, you could say today's celebrities mostly live online! ;)
Other well known Voicaloid characters are Megurine Luka, Kasane Teto, Kagamine Rin, and Yuzuki Yukari. I don't know about many more virtual idols that have achieved fame, but that might change in the near future because virtual idols are popping up every day. These are exciting times we live in!
